THE 1999 ST. LOUIS PAPAL ALTAR The original blue print of the St. Louis Papal Altar, created by Catholic Supply's liturgical designer, Mr. Angelo Gherardi. The design features a main stage (60 feet across and 40 feet deep) and two side stages (one foot lower) for the 200 bishops (35' x 40'). A 45 foot replica of the St. Louis Arch was designed for the center with a suspended 48 foot wooden cross hanging from the rafters above.
